Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg is a 33 years old American computer programmer and Internet entrepreneur, born on May 14, 1984. He is known as the co-founder of Facebook.

Zuckerberg has always been interested in computers and at an age of 12, he created a messaging program, called Zucknet. He enrolled at Harvard University in 2002, where he besides his study in psychology and computer science developed a few computer programs. From his college dorm room, he created Facebook together with his college roommates and a few fellow students from Harvard and the site was launched February 4, 2004. Facebook became a huge success just within the first couple of month and Zuckerberg dropped out of Harvard University in June 2004 to focus on Facebook. In the end of 2004, Facebook had one million users. Today Facebook has one billion active users, all over the world.

Since then, Zuckerberg has invested in Instagram, Oculus Rift and Whatsapp.
