Catfish: Review

Catfish is a documentary directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman. It follows Ariel’s brother, Yaniv Schulman and his online relationship with a young lady, named Megan and her family.

While looking at reviews on the movie I realised there are a lot of different reviews on it.
Peter Bradshaw expressed his thoughts about Catfish in an article on The Guardian – he focuses on lot on the originality of the documentary and believes it is fake. Despite from this, it focuses a lot on the connection between social networking and communication.


Slant Magazine criticise the movie and talks about whether it’s authentic or nor and claiming it’s fake. Lastly, Rotten Tomatoes focuses on the connection between “real-life drama and class exploitation”.
