Lecture June 27

In the first lecture of New Communication Technology the 27th of June I got a lot of new knowledge about the definition of communication and some theory about how communication actually works. Communication is the process that happens when two or more individuals are in contact with each other. The first part of a communication process is the speaker, whom has to decide what to send out to his audience and decided how to deliver the message. When the audience receives the message, it gets analysed by the audiences and they decide what the intention of the message was.
I also learned that there are two kinds of communication processes, respectively the intersubjectivity- and intertextuality process. The intersubjectivity communication process is often used when an argument is started, whereas the intertextuality communication process is when a message is sent out to a large audience and each person interpret the message different.
